The Russell County Lady Lakers fell to Danville at home last night by a score of 55-29.
The Lady Lakers fell behind double-digits early, but battled back in the second quarter to cut the lead to 5 going into halftime.
However, Danville controlled the second half to come away with the victory.
The Lady Lakers are now 0-3 and will look for their first win of the season on Friday when they host Pickett County (TN) in a doubleheader.
The Lady Lakers will play in the first game, which tips off at 5:30 p.m.
