Carol Ruth Denney Morton, age 72, of Jabez, KY passed away Monday, December 19 2022 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born on Sunday, July 23 1950, in Jabez, Ky.
She was the daughter of:
Mother – Opal Christine Burton Denney, who has preceded her in death
Father – Clarence Willard Denney, who has preceded her in death
Survivors also include:

• Clarence Tracy Smith, spouse Kimberly, of Somerset KY.

• Allen Wayne Denney, of Nancy KY
• Johnny Ray Denney, of Jabez KY
• Delno Denney, of Jabez KY
She is also survived by five grandchildren, Summer Nicole Smith, Austin Ruice Smith, Marissa Sophia Ruth Kingsley, Elianah Grace-Lynn Morton, Conner Dalton-Allen Kingsley. She was a former cashier at Harris Grocery. She attended Jabez Missionary Church of God. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Lynn Smith.
Funeral services will be 12 NOON Thursday, December 22 2022 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.
Visitation will be 10 AM Thursday, December 22 2022 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.
Interment will be in Military Springs Cemetery, Jabez, KY.
