A look at Russell County school attendance numbers for Tuesday shows attendance dipped slightly from Monday’s attendance.
Districtwide, attendance was at 90.4 percent Tuesday, down from 92.3 percent reported on Monday.
Salem Elementary at 88.9 percent and Russell Springs Elementary at 89.4 percent were below the 90 percent mark yesterday.
Russell County High School sat at 90.7 percent, Russell County Middle School was 90.77 percent, and Jamestown Elementary finished at 91.6 percent on Tuesday.
More than two dozen school districts in the state have canceled in-person at classes at some point in November due to illness but Russell County Schools have had enough faculty and staff present to operate on a normal schedule.
