Russell County, most of state, in green on new COVID map

Russell County joins most of the state in the green category, or low level of spread, on the latest COVID-19 map released by the Kentucky Department of Public Health.

The map shows Russell County as one of 107 counties in Kentucky labeled as green, while the remaining 13 are in the yellow, or medium level of spread.

Casey County is the only county in the Lake Cumberland Area labeled yellow.

No counties in Kentucky were labeled red, or a high spread.
