The Russell County Sheriff’s Office released its monthly report for the month of October.
The sheriff’s office responded to 359 calls for service, performed 23 arrests, and provided 26 mental health transports.
The office had 119 court papers received and drove 4,810 court security miles.
The sheriff’s office also had 24 criminal summons and performed 22 vehicle inspections, and also issued 18 concealed carry of deadly weapons permits.
The office also worked 23 total auto collisions during the month, including 5 with injuries.
The sheriff’s office also responded to 5 shots fired complaints, 10 EMS assists, 41 officer requests, 16 welfare checks, and 17 suspicious person complaints.
For the month of October, the sheriff’s office collected about $8.4 million in property taxes.
