One election complaint in Russell County reported to Attorney General’s office

During each election, the Kentucky Attorney General’s office sets up an election violation hotline to report potential violations.

Of around 300 reports across the state, only one was in Russell County.

The complaints are reported using broad categories and do not include specific details of the allegations.

The lone complaint in Russell County was reported as a procedural question.

In neighboring counties, Pulaski County had one complaint labeled as a campaign violation.

In Wayne County, three complaints were filed. One was for vote buying/selling (bribery), one campaign violation and one electioneering.

In Clinton County, two complaints were filed with one being a procedural question and one labeled as general election fraud/other.
