Local gas prices are in the middle of the pack in the area.
According to AAA’s price tracker, the average price of gas in Russell County sits at $3.22 following the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Looking at neighboring counties, Pulaski, Adair, Casey, and Cumberland counties all have average prices lower than Russell County with Pulaski being the lowest at $3.14.
Wayne County is just slightly higher at $3.23 and Clinton County has some of the highest gas prices in the area at $3.39.
