Kentucky’s seasonally adjusted preliminary October 2022 unemployment rate was 3.9 percent, according to the Kentucky Center for Statistics, an agency within the Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet.
The preliminary October 2022 jobless rate was up 0.1 percentage points from September 2022 but was down 0.7 percentage points from the 4.6 percent recorded for the state one year ago.
The U.S. seasonally adjusted jobless rate for October 2022 was 3.7 percent, which was up 0.2 percentage points from September 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
