A new report from the Kentucky Department for Public Health shows Russell County had 17 reported cases of COVID-19 last week.
That’s down from the previous week’s total of 25.
Pulaski County had the most cases in the area at 38. Casey had 12 cases and Adair had 7. Wayne, Clinton, and Cumberland counties each recorded 4 cases.
As a whole, the state reported more than 3,800 cases and 43 deaths.
The state positivity rate sits at just over 7 percent.
