The Russell County Middle School Football team fell in the conference championship game to Campbellsville Tuesday night.
The Lakers fell to the Eagles by a score of 20-0.
The middle school Lakers finish the season with a 9-3 record and runner-up in the Central Kentucky Middle School Athletic Conference.
