The Russell County Middle School Football team advanced to the conference championship with a 22-0 win over Green County last night.
The Lakers will play Campbellsville next Tuesday in the conference championship.
On Saturday, the Lakers will play at Corbin in the second round of the middle school state playoffs with kickoff at 3 p.m. CT.
