The Russell County Community Blood Drive takes place today at the South Kentucky RECC Community Room from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All donors will receive a free t-shirt while supplies last and be entered to win a $100 gift card.
The Kentucky Blood Center notes that it is in desperate need of donors as the blood supply for local hospitals is down to to one day or half a day’s supply.
