A Russell County grand jury handed down indictments against 16 individuals yesterday.
Those indicted included the following:
- Cecil D. Stacy, age 31, of Russell Springs, was charged with two counts of wanton endangerment 1st degree, class D felonies, and speeding 26 mph or more over the limit.
- Justin M. Weddle, age 37, of Russell Springs, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, a class D felony.
- Richard Cade, age 45, of Burnside, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, a class D felony, possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor, and operating on a suspended license.
- Vicente Hernandez, age 35, of Russell Springs, was charged with rape 1st degree, a class B felony, incest, a class B felony, and intimidating a participant in the legal process, a class D felony.
- Michael L. Miller, age 40, of Shepherdsville, was charged with driving under the influence 1st offense, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, a class D felony, possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor, possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor, failure to produce an insurance card, failure to illuminate headlamps, no registration plates, and no registration receipt.
- Joseph T. Blair, age 61, of Russell Springs, was charged with wanton endangerment 1st degree, a class D felony, and criminal mischief 1st degree, a class D felony.
- Brent J. Grimsley, age 40, of Dunnville, was charged with driving under the influence 2nd offense, two counts of wanton endangerment 1st degree, class D felonies, no insurance, failure to register transfer of motor vehicle, license to be in possession, failure to notify DOT of change of address, and with being a persistent felony offender 1st degree.
- Darren Jones, age 28, Dakota Jones, age 28, Kevin Jones, age 25, and Gloria Floyd, age 47, all of Russell Springs, were each charged with criminal abuse 1st degree, a class B felony.
- Rebecca M. Noe, age 38, of Richmond, was charged with obstructed vision or windshield, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, a class D felony, trafficking in a controlled substance 2nd degree, a class D felony, prescription not in proper container, a class A misdemeanor, and with being a persistent felony offender, 1st degree.
- Heather Houk, age 38, of Campbellsville, was charged with failure to or improper signal, failure to produce insurance card, trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree, a class C felony, possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor. In the same indictment Zachary E. Dixon, age 40, of Greensburg, was charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, a class D felony.
- Brandon Bratcher, age 29, of Monticello, was charged with rear license plate not illuminated, failure to produce an insurance card, no insurance, operating on a suspended or revoked license, trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree, a class C felony, possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor, and with being a persistent felony offender 1st degree.
- Ranoda Blackburn, age 42, of Jamestown, was charged with flagrant nonsupport, a class D felony, and with being a persistent felony offender 1st degree.
