Hardwick has big day in RCMS win over Northern Pulaski

Brylie Jo Hardwick had a big day as the Russell County Middle School Lady Lakers avenged one of their two defeats of the season with an 8-2 win over Northern Pulaski County.

In the pitchers circle, Hardwick pitched six innings, giving up just two hits and two runs (both unearned) and striking out six.

At the plate, Hardwick finished the day 3-3 with 2 RBI and two doubles.

Camdin Cooper, Rylen McGowan, Chezney Burton, Carigann Carpenter, and Kaelyn Campbell each drove in a run as well.

The Lady Lakers will have a chance to avenge their other loss on the season when they travel to Clinton County on Thursday. Clinton County took the first matchup about two weeks ago by a score of 2-1.
