No action was taken by the Russell County Hospital Board of Directors during a special-called meeting this past Friday, following a nearly two-hour executive session where the board discussed “personnel issues” behind closed doors.
Last week, the board approved a severance package for former Russell County Hospital CEO Patrick Branco after the two “mutually agreed” to part ways.
Another special-called meeting of the healthcare facility’s board of directors will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, March 15th at 4 p.m. in the Duo Broadband boardroom in Jamestown.
The board is expected to continue discussing personnel matters and potentially an interim CEO during another scheduled executive session.
