Ramsey appointed to RCIDA Board

City thanks Steve Branscum for 30+ years of service

Chris Ramsey was appointed and unanimously approved by the Russell Springs City Council for a seat on the Russell County Industrial Development Authority board at last night’s city council meeting.

Mayor Eddie Thomas made the appointment, and thanked current board member Steve Branscum for his years of service to the board.

Branscum has served on the board since its beginning in the 1990s.

Ramsey, who serves as Russell Springs City Clerk, joins Russell Springs Economic Development Director Jeramy Coffey as the city’s two appointees to the board.

The city plans to hold a recognition ceremony in honor of Branscum’s years of service to the board at next month’s city council meeting.
