During the month of February, there were eight traffic accidents investigated by state police working in the Post 15 area, which includes Russell and surrounding counties.
During the month there were:

55 Criminal Cases Opened
208 Criminal Arrests Made
There was also one fatal collision during the month. Joshua Wilson, age 30, of Casey County, was killed on February 2nd in Casey County.
This brings the Post 15 yearly fatality count to three compared with three through this same period in 2021.
The statewide fatality count stands at 87 compared with 103 through the same period last year.
