James A. Hammond, age 59, of Russell Springs

James A. Hammond, 59, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away Sunday, March 6th, at Russell County Hospital.

James was born in Albany, KY on May 13, 1962, a son of the late Reba (Garner) Hammond and Samuel Ray Hammond.

James is survived by

a daughter, Jessica, wife of  Lerontez Fanning, of Jamestown, KY;
a son ,Jeremy, husband of  Samantha Hammond, of Jamestown, KY;
five sisters, Shirley Popplewell, of Russell Springs, KY; Chestelene Popplewell, of Jamestown, KY; Sherry Lawless, of Jamestown, KY; Peggy Begley, of Columbia, KY; Patty Hammond, of Russell Springs, KY;
six brothers, Ralph Hammond, of Jamestown, KY; Randall Hammond, of Russell Springs, KY; Terry Hammond, of IN; Bobby Hammond, of Russell Springs, KY; Floyd Hammond, of Jamestown, KY; David Hammond, of Russell Springs, KY.

He is also survived by 4 grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers Ray Hammond, Jr, Michael Hammond, Donnie Hammond and a sister Barbara Hammond.

Funeral Service at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, Jamestown, KY, at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 9th,  with Bro. Jerry Smith officiating.

Friends may visit  Wednesday 11:00 AM. until time of service  at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel.

Interment at Dixon Cemetery Jamestown, KY.
