Russell County High School has its new softball coach with the season opener just a month away.
Tonya Rexroat will take over the Lady Laker Softball team for the season, with a full-scale coaching search planned after the conclusion of the season.
Rexroat is pretty familiar with this group of Lady Laker Softball players, as she coached several of the players on the 14U team in 2018 and also has experience coaching at the middle school level.
The Lady Laker Softball team will host their season opener against Taylor County on Tuesday, March 15.
