A Russell County and Clinton County student were nominated for U.S. Service Academies by Sen. Rand Paul.
Samantha Betts Jimenez from Russell County was nominated for the United States Air Force Academy and Gracie Melton of Clinton County was nominated for the United States Military Academy.
These two students were among 31 nominated statewide by Sen. Paul for U.S. Service academies.
