Two Russell County Middle School Academic Team members will be headed to state competition.
At the regional competition, Asa Woodcock placed 4th in mathematics and will advance to state and Kamden Templin placed 1st in social studies and will advance to state.
The state finals will take place March 19-21 at the Galt House in Louisville.
The RCMS Academic Team is coached by Holly Pierce and Brittany Murrell.
