Man with Russell County ties wins first Bass Pro Tournament event

Bradley Roy has won his first Bass Pro Tournament event with a win at the 2022 B&W Trailer Hitches Stage One event.

Roy, a resident of Lancaster, has several family ties to Russell County. His grandfather, Paul Roy, and grandmother, Bonnie Foley Robertson, are both native Russell Countians, along with his parents Paul ‘Anthony’ and Jacquie Foley Roy.

Roy has been a professional fisherman for several years and grew up fishing on Lake Cumberland, and has in the past held the Bradley Roy High School Open Fishing Tournament on Lake Cumberland.
