Local gas prices trending upward

Local gas prices are trending upward with the average cost of gasoline in Russell County on Thursday evening at $3.22, according to AAA.

Gas prices across the state have been trending up, with the average cost of gasoline in Kentucky at $3.20

In surrounding counties, gas prices are near that average. In Adair County, the average cost is $3.20; in Casey County, $3.19; in Pulaski, $3.25; in Wayne, $3.24; Clinton $3.27; and Cumberland $3.24.
