The Laker Swim & Dive Team competed in the regional tournament over the weekend.
A few accomplishments of note were:
Jacob Phillips finished 2nd and qualified for the state tournament in the 500 freestyle.
The girls swim team finished as the overall region runner-up.
Coach Glenda Prater was named Region 3 Coach of the Year.
The girls 400 free relay team of Morgan Jones, Ally Stephens, Alexa Stephens, and Marlei Devore finished 3rd.
The girls 200 Medley relay team of Alexa Stephens, Blair Brummett, Marlei Devore, and Allie Mann finished 2nd.
Morgan Jones received the Region 3 Sportsmanship Award.
