The Lady Lakers fell into an early hole, trailing 18-9 at the end of the first quarter, but were able to trim the lead to 4 going into halftime. However, the Lady Lakers were outscored 25-13 in the second half.
The Lady Lakers were led by Sophie Shearer with 9 points and 8 rebounds. Rachel Bolin also had 9 points for the Lady Lakers, and Aniyah Coffey finished with 6 points and 7 rebounds.
The turnover bug bit the Lady Lakers again, as they finished the night with 27 turnovers.
The Lady Lakers are back in action in the regular season finale on Friday, a doubleheader at Rockcastle County.
