Russell Springs Mayor Eddie Thomas has appointed Kathy Bottom Johnson to the Russell Springs Cemetery Board.
Johnson will fill the term of the late Ray Barrett, a former city commissioner and law enforcement officer in the city.
Barrett passed away last month at the age of 79.
