Russell County Schools will be on regular schedule Wednesday as students return to the classroom following an extended weekend due to the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday, along with a weather closing on Tuesday.
In neighboring school districts, Clinton County Schools have decided to close the remainder of the week due to high numbers of COVID cases and possible winter weather entering the area.
Wayne and Pulaski County Schools are utilizing virtual instruction for Wednesday.
Adair County Schools are operating on a one-hour delay Wednesday.
