Campbellsville Police are investigating an alleged murder that took place Sunday afternoon.
According to law enforcement, Campbellsville Police officers responded just before 12:30 p.m. Sunday to North Jackson Street in Campbellsville in reference to a possible DVO violation.
Once on scene, officers discovered Justin George, age 34 of Campbellsville, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
Officers located the suspect, 27-year-old Joseph Blake Roberts of Campbellsville, later in the day and arrested him on a murder charge.
The investigation is ongoing by Campbellsville Police.
