Dwight Kerns, age 68, of Jamestown

Dwight Kerns, age 68, of Jamestown, died Friday, January 21st, in Russell Springs.

Dwight was born in Russell Springs, Kentucky on April 22, 1953, a son of the late Lois (Hill) and Forest Kerns.

He served in the U.S. Marines and later worked in construction.   He was the husband of Bonnie (Owens) Kerns of Jamestown.

Dwight is also survived by a daughter, Tanya, wife of Troy Moore, of Russell Springs;     a son, Eric, husband of Trena Kerns, of Somerset;   two sisters, Shirley Wilson, of Russell Springs and Loretta Smith of Jamestown;   three brothers:    Fred Kerns of Columbia, and Joe Kerns and Paul Kerns, both of Russell Springs.

Four grandchildren survive:    Allison Kerns, Grant Kerns, Jessica Renfro, and Jeron Moore, and one great-grandson, Eastin Moore, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers:    Albert, Barney, and Ricky Kerns, and two sisters: Jenny Kerns and Jeanette Doss.

Funeral Service will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, North Main Street in Jamestown, at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 23rd, with Bro. Phillip Miller officiating.    Friends may visit Sunday 11:00 a.m. until time of service at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel.   The family asks that anyone attending visitation and funeral please wear a mask.
