A total of 28 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Russell County on Wednesday.
There have now been 121 new cases reported in the county this week.
Three deaths were also reported in Russell County as part of the state death certificate audit. That brings the death toll in Russell County to 70.
297 new cases were reported in the Lake Cumberland District on Wednesday. New cases by county were: Adair 57, Casey 16, Clinton 18, Cumberland 30, Green 9, McCreary 11, Pulaski 81, Taylor 22, and Wayne 25.
87 hospitalizations were reported in the Lake Cumberland District on Wednesday.
