Russell County Sheriff Derek Polston presented statistics from the sheriff’s office for the month of November.

In the month of November, the Russell County Sheriff’s Office recorded:

-51 arrests

-26 mental health transports

-420 calls for service

– 74 court papers received

-1,276 court security transport miles

-31 criminal summons served

-41 vehicle inspections

-25 auto collisions worked

-12 welfare checks

-23 lockouts
