Lorene McGowan, age 92, of Jamestown, KY, passed away Thursday, December
23rd, at her residence.
Lorene was born in Somerset, KY on June 2, 1929, a daughter of the late
Martha (Hansford) and Link Whitaker.
She was a homemaker.
Lorene is survived by
two daughters, Joyce (Kenney) Wilson, of Russell Springs, KY;
Elizabeth Richards, of Jamestown, KY;
four sons Wendell McGowan, of Russell Springs, KY; James Goble (Patsy)
McGowan, of Jamestown, KY; Carlos (Linda) McGowan, of Jamestown, KY; Gary
(Mary) McGowan, of Panama City Beach, FL.
She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 3
great great grandchildren
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Cosby McGowan, 1 daughter
Lois McGowan and 2 sisters Flossie Johnson and Myrtle Bryant.
Religious Service at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, Jamestown, KY, at 1:00 PM
on Friday, December 24th, with Bro. Phillip Miller officiating.
Special music Amy Lawless, Kay Robertson and Matt Franklin.
Friends may visit Friday 11:00 AM. at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel.
