Russell County High School senior MaKenna Meeks signed with the Campbellsville University Cheerleading team during a special signing ceremony Thursday at Russell County High School.
“I’m so excited that I get the opportunity to join the Campbellsville University Cheer team,” Meeks said. “It was something that I kind of didn’t expect, but last spring, whenever I got in contact with them and started learning more about their program, it excited me to know that this could be a possibility for my future. All summer and all fall, I worked with them making my skills better. I finally got to join the team today and I’m excited to grow in my faith with them and grow my education and pursue my law degree. Campbellsville seems like the perfect place for me and I can’t wait to join the Cheer team.”
