Laker Swim and Dive defeats Somerset and Glasgow

The Laker Swim & Dive Team was back in action on Thursday night as Glasgow and Somerset visited for a Double Dual meet at the Natatorium Complex.

Both teams defeated Glasgow & Somerset, as they were victorious in 17 of 22 events swam.

RCHS Boys defeated Somerset:  104 – 15

RCHS Boys defeated Glasgow:    96-34

Dawson Haydon (200 Free, 50 Free), Jacob Phillips (100 Fly, 500 Free) and Ben Kislan (200 IM, 100 Breast) each won both events they swam leading the Laker Boys to victory.

RCHS Girls defeated Somerset:  102-26

RCHS Girls defeated Glasgow:    102-44

Marlei DeVore won both the 200 Free & 100 Back for the Lady Lakers.  Alexa Stephens also had a strong night with a win in the 500 Freestyle and 2^nd in the 200 IM.  Senior, Morgan Jones had a pair of 2^nd place finishes in 200 Free, and 100 Fly.

The Lakers are taking next week off from competition, but will be back in action on Thursday, December 2^nd as we host a very strong group of teams from Boyle, Pulaski, Barren, & Rockcastle.
