Sarah L. Davis, age 67, of Russell Springs

Sarah L. Davis, of Russell Springs, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Russell County Hospital.  She was 67 years of age.

Sarah was born on October 1, 1954, in Casey County, daughter of the late Chester Wilson and Barbara West Wilson Eads.  She married Doyle Davis in February of 1972, in Tennessee.  Sarah was a graduate of Midway College, obtaining her bachelor’s degree.  She worked for several years for Somerset Oil, as an administrative assistant.  Sarah was a member of the Bethany Church of Christ.

She was an avid reader, being actual books or on her Kindle.  Sarah enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy and loved her favorite drink, Ski.

She is survived by her son, Nathan (and Donna) Davis, of Russell Springs; her daughters, Margaret Sullivan and Donna (and Leon) Kislan, both of Russell Springs; her brothers, Tom (and Shirley) Wilson, of Georgia, and Ronnie (and Margaret) Wilson, of Russell Springs; her sister, Connie Bernard, of Russell Springs; her seven grandchildren, Michael Davis, Lynette Damra, Jason Davis, Kelsey Sullivan-Johnson, Lindsey Damron, Benjamin Kislan and Savannah Kislan; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, many of whom called her “Nana”.

Sarah is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Doyle; and her brother, Wayne Wilson.

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., CST, Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Mill Springs National Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. CST until 8:00 p.m. CST, in the funeral home chapel.
