A Russell County alumnus has won back-to-back regional volleyball championships at Daviess County High School.
Tyla Bailey, daughter of Kevin and Mary Lynn Bailey, played on the Lady Laker Volleyball team from 2007-2010 before graduating and moving on to play at the collegiate level. She’s been the coach at Daviess County High School since 2018 and last night, her Daviess County team won the 3rd Region Tournament for the second year in a row.
The state volleyball tournament is scheduled to begin on Nov. 1.
