The Russell County Laker Football team fell 44-14 against the LaRue County Hawks in the regular season finale Friday night, finishing the regular season with a final record of 2-8.
The Lakers now prepare for the postseason, where they will travel to Allen County-Scottsville for the second time in three weeks for a first-round playoff matchup this Friday. The Lakers traveled to Allen County less than two weeks ago for a district matchup where they fell 37-7.
