Bruce Hanson, of Russell Springs, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021, at his home. He was 67 years of age.
Born January 1, 1954, in Ashtabula, Ohio, he was the son of the late Burdette and Paulene Ola Hanson. Bruce was a God-fearing man who loved his Maker and kept a Bible at his bedside. He was a loving son and good brother. Bruce had no children of his own, but many step-children that he loved dearly. Bruce was a “car freak” and enjoyed anything and everything that had to do with cars. He loved to watch Nascar races and was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan. You could often find him watching one of the many TV shows about hot rods, automobile building and restoration, and classic cars. Bruce was a good friend to those that knew him; and those that knew him, loved him.
Bruce is survived by his sister, Valerie (and Paul) Stamper, of Jamestown; two nieces, Alicia Musser, of Ohio, and Brittany (and John) Farris, of Jamestown; and several great nieces and great nephews.
Family will receive friends to Celebrate the Life of Bruce Hanson, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home.
