The Russell County Board of Education will participate in a Kentucky Department of Education program that will provide a one-time payment of $100 for any school employee who is fully vaccinated.
Employees, both full-time and part-time, can submit their proof of vaccination to the board of education to be able to receive the incentive. The board of education will be reimbursed for the payments made to local school employees.
This applies to those who have already been vaccinated, along with people who become fully vaccinated before Dec. 1, 2021.
