Lonnie Brockman, age 63, of Russell Springs

Lonnie Brockman, of Russell Springs, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021, at his home.  He was 63 years of age.

Lonnie was born on July 22, 1958, in Russell County, son of the late Ernest and Bonnie McElroy Brockman.  He was an oil well serviceman and worked in the oil fields.  Lonnie loved trail riding on horseback.  He was close with his family; his brothers and sisters “stuck together” and were best buddies.  If you needed his help, he’d come.

He is survived by his twin brother, Donnie Brockman, of Russell Springs; his brothers, Ernest Brockman, of Russell Springs, and James Brockman, of Indianapolis; his sisters, Alene Antle, of Jamestown, Delores Wells, of Russell Springs, and Connie Dearing, of Smithville, Tennessee; his son, Jason Brockman, of Russell Springs; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding Lonnie in death are his parents; and his son, Tyler Brockman, who preceded him in death on September 23, 2021.

A Graveside Service for Lonnie Brockman and Tyler Brockman will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 1, 2021, at Free Union Cemetery, in Adair County.
