Lexington man’s body recovered from Lake Cumberland

The body of a Lexington man was recovered from Lake Cumberland in Wayne County Thursday morning.

According to FOX56 WDKY in Lexington, the man, who has not had his identity released yet, was 73 years old and kept a houseboat docked at Beaver Creek.

His body was located a few miles from there, according to FOX56. The man was reported missing from Lexington on Wednesday and police used OnStar and the man’s phone to narrow the location.

No cause of death has been reported yet. The body is being sent to Louisville for an autopsy.
