The Russell County Laker Golf team won its third consecutive district championship by winning the 16th District Tournament at Dale Hollow State Park on Tuesday.
Bentley Perkerson shot a 36 even par and was an overall medalist. Nick Blakey shot a 38 for second overall. Kole Rixon and Josh Glover rounded out the Lakers team with a 44 and 48, respectively.
Russell County defeated Metcalfe County by one stroke, with Russell County finishing at 166 to Metcalfe’s 167, followed by Clinton County at 169 and Cumberland County at 184.
