Coinciding with a decrease in cases, the positivity rate of COVID tests in Russell County has dropped significantly over the last week.
According to the CDC, the positivity rate in Russell County is around 8 percent. That’s lower than the state average of 10.5 percent and is almost half of what it was a week ago.
The CDC shows a 7.88 percent decrease in the positivity rate over the last seven days.
