Multiple local law enforcement agencies responded to a call Monday afternoon of a man who had illegally gained access to the Russell County Circuit Clerk’s Office in the judicial center.
The Russell County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Police, and Russell Springs Police responded to the call at about 3:30 p.m. Monday where they located the man inside the Circuit Clerks Office area where he had gained access to a room through a door next to the clerk’s office.
The man was taken by law enforcement to Russell County Hospital for urgent medical care. Charges are expected to be filed against the man upon release and more information will be released as it’s available.
