Phillip Lendil Wilson, age 78, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Thursday, August 26 2021 at His residence.
He was born on Wednesday, November 25 1942, in Russell Springs, KY.
He was the son of:
Mother – Elva Meece Wilson, who has preceded him in death
Father – Herbert Wilson, who has preceded him in death

Angela Gosser, spouse Larry V., of Russell Springs KY
Jennifer Wilson, of Russell Springs KY

Darryl Wilson, of Russell Springs KY.

James Wilson, of Jamestown KY
Seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. He attended Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church. and was a retired diesel mechanic. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Wilson. He was an avid sportsman, Veteran of the United States Army and he worked for Key GMC in Cincinnati. He was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Military rites will be performed by the DAV Honor Guard.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, August 29 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.
Visitation will be 1:00 PM Sunday, August 29 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.
Interment will be in Rexroat Cemetery, Jamestown, KY.
