New data from the CDC shows that more than 7,000 Russell County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The data, which was updated Tuesday afternoon, shows that 7,016 Russell County residents have received at least one dose, which is roughly 46.2 percent of the county’s population that is 12 years and older.
About 71 percent of the county’s population that is age 65+ has received at least one dose of the vaccine.

Adair County: 36.2 percent
Casey County: 34.7 percent
Pulaski County: 48.9 percent
Wayne County: 37.2 percent
