Monticello man arrested by RCSO on multiple charges

A Monticello man was arrested after the Russell County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop at the Cumberland Lodge in Russell Springs Wednesday night.

Deputy Corey Meyer arrested Brandon Bratcher, age 27, and charged him with theft of identity, possession of heroin, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, trafficking in methamphetamine second or more offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bratcher was also served with an outstanding felony warrant out of Monticello.

Bratcher was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just after 8 p.m. Wednesday.
