Multiple Russell County Laker Athletics events have been disrupted by COVID-19.
The Laker Football team forfeited their game on Friday as they were scheduled to take on Somerset. The Lakers hope to return to the field this Friday night as they host Barren County in the season’s home opener. The Trojans lost to Adair County in double-overtime Friday night by a score of 34-26.
The Laker Soccer team forfeited a game against Campbellsville on Saturday. The Lakers are scheduled to host Taylor County tomorrow.
The Lady Laker Soccer team was scheduled to travel to Clinton County today, but the Lady Bulldogs program forfeited due to COVID. The Lady Lakers are scheduled to be in action Thursday when they host Green County.
