The Russell County Laker Golf Team finished tied for 5th out of a 14 team field at Burnside State Park in the Rockcastle Invitational on Tuesday.
Junior Bentley Perkerson led the way for the Lakers, placing 2nd in the 78-player field by shooting an even par 71.
Senior Nick Blakey shot an 86, while Dru Stapp shot an 87 and Kole Rixon and Josh Glover each shot a 90 for a team score of 334.
