A Flag March will be held in Russell Springs on Saturday.
The event was put together by the Russell County Honor Guard and is meant to recognize veterans, first responders, and essential workers.
Those interested in participating are asked to meet in the Kmart parking lot at around 4:30 p.m. Saturday and bring an American flag. DO NOT bring political flags.
The march will go from the Kmart parking lot to the Russell Springs City Park, about a mile in distance. Those who are able are encouraged to walk. Anyone who isn’t able to walk but wants to participate can drive their car.
Following the march, there will be a recognition ceremony and then music throughout the evening from the following:
